agreement and disagreement

Dalam kegiatan sehari-hari terkadang kita mendapat tawaran. Semisal tawran untukmakn malam bersama, menhadiri pesta bersama, dan lain-lain. Nah, sekarang saya akan memberikan contoh dalam kehidupan sehari-hari tentang percakapan untuk menerima dan menolak suatu tawaran dalam bahasa inggris. (agreement and disagreement)

Agreement & disagreement

Situation 1

A son asking his very busy father to accompany him to see a movie at six this evening. The father refuse the appointment and he promises to do so at the weekend.

Diaologue Disagreement:

James : “Dad, would you like to accompany me, to see a movie at 6pm this evening?”

Dad : “I wish I could, but I am very busy. I promise to do so at the weekend.”

James : “But it’s new movie, Dad.”

Dad : “I am so sorry, dear. Not for now.”

James : “oh okay. No problem.”

Situation 2 :

You meet an old friend of yours by accident in a supermarket. You ask him to drop in your house at 7pm for dinner. And he/she is agree to come.

Dialogue for agreement.

You : “Hay, would you like to come in my house for dinner at 7pm?”

Friend: “Oh, okay. I can. Buy the way, I didn’t another appointment.”

You : “ I will serve the special menu for our dinner.”

Friend: “ Thank you.”
